DIY TRAIN

February 2020

A toilet paper train is such an easy DIY, and as long as it avoids water, it surprisingly has a long life and a lot of love to give!

Materials:

Toilet paper rolls

Yoghurt lids

Rope

Hot glue gun/PVA

Method:

1. Lightly squeeze TP rolls in half and cut a small incision on the top layer.

2. Use incisions to make cut outs for your peg dolls or train passengers. (I had mine on hand and kept checking if they'd fit, then make the cut outs bigger if needed)

3. Repeat the same process for the front of the train, but this time creating two smaller cut outs. Have two toilet paper rolls nearby and try and use them as a guide for the length of the cut out. (Note: I couldn't remember what the front of a train looked like, so feel free to get creative with this step!!!)

4. Use hot glue gun or PVA to attach string between each carriage.

5. Use hot glue gun to attach lids to each carriage.

VOILA a train!
