DAILY RHYTHM CLOCK

March 2020

Helping littles follow the rhythm of their days!

It may not be obvious but little people developmentally crave pattern and reassurance of routine. I know with our lifestyle everyday isn’t always the same, so having a daily rhythm clock helps my little man settle into a day and accept what we are doing/when we are doing it!

To create this all you need is a piece of cardboard, Stanley knife or boxcutter, pegs, textas/permanent markers and a paper fastener!

  1. Cut a circle out of a piece of cardboard (tip: trace around a side plate)

  2. Divide the circle into quarters, then half (you should have 8 quadrants)

  3. Label each section

  4. Colour code and label pegs (tip: use both sides of pegs to maximise use)

  5. Cut two time hand pieces out of cardboard

  6. Pierce the middle of your circle to create a hole, then attach clock hands with paper fastener.

Let me know if you have any questions! And make sure to share your creations with @today.our.children
