DRAMATIC PLAY

When setting up dramatic play keep the themes things your children are familiar with- the idea is that they can explore their understanding of their world- home corner/kitchen and table, hairdresser, doctor, dentist, vet, restaurant, etc.

Elements you can include:

• Posters - you can use magazine clippings or draw your own, e.g. a Specials menu at a restaurant; eye chart at the doctor)

• Costumes or Playsilks

• Writing elements (notepads, feedback forms, etc)
